The Northern Rivers Rail Trail

The Start of the newly completed Northern Rivers Rail Trail is at Mooball. It runs along the old railway line from Wooyung in the South to Murwillumbah in the North. Cutting through spectacular hinterland it also features historic railway bridges and a number of tunnels (one 500m long). All off road on good surfaces (mixture of compacted gravel and tarmac) it is the perfect cycleway for all experience levels with plenty of fascinating towns to visit along the way.
