Overview

In this two-part exhibition, artists Tiyan Baker, Cindy Yuen-Zhe Chen and Sarah Ong come together to explore themes of labour, cultural roots and resilience through their respective contemporary practices and their creative use of bamboo, a plant with deep spiritual and emotional significance for many people across Australia. This exhibition was produced in partnership between Bankstown Arts Centre and Museum of Art and Culture, yapang.
