Overview

The tour is informative and funny. You will hear a story about a local miner, an incredible story as you drive across the field and stop at different points to hear about opal mining, the secretive industry and how it still operates today, as it did way back then. Learn about opals, about the dugouts and what this town and life here are all about.
Come for an adventure for a couple of hours and have a unique outback experience.
You don't need a 4WD.
Please bring water and a hat - there isn't a lot of walking, but it is hot out there.
