Overview
The Bayview Hotel has been a local landmark since it's opening in 1879. As Batemans Bay emerged as a service hub for timber and river trade, the Bayview became a convenient stop for travellers and workers moving between the wharves.
The now familiar Art-deco frontage and two-storey verandah was built in the 1930s–40s and the Bayview became both a watering hole and meeting point in a growing town.
With the 1956 bridge Batemans Bay's tourism increased dramatically and the Bayview became a classic NSW pub with dining and accommodation in the heart of town.
Newly refurbished, The Bayview is open 7 days a week with a new feel and an amazing menu
