Urunga Boardwalk

The Urunga Boardwalk is a beautiful riverside and coastal experience in Urunga, NSW, offering gorgeous water views and a peaceful way to explore the foreshore from town out along the river.

A section of the new boardwalk (around 200 m with a viewing platform) is currently open to visitors and will remain accessible in 2026. Please be aware that parts of the walk are still being built, and intermittent closures may occur as work continues, so it's a good idea to check local signage before you set out.

Whether you're after a leisurely stroll, great photo spots, or a chance to enjoy Urunga's relaxed coastal vibe, it's a lovely stop—just plan for the occasional detour as the full boardwalk is completed.
