Midgard Forest is an organic permaculture farm and mountain rainforest landscape located inside an ancient valley in the Byron Bay hinterland close to beaches, rivers and villages and located one hour from the Gold Coast and airport. A range of fruits, herbs and vegetables are grown in gardens and orchards to provide seasonal supplies of produce used on farm for food, medicine, cosmetics and building projects. Mountain spring water flows out of the forest to nourish people, plants and animals and Midgard is home to goats, sheep, chickens, cows, bees and a diverse range of wildlife. Various sites for camping with tents or vans offer valley views, an outdoor fire pit and access to spring water. Some site listings include access to a communal building with a shared kitchen, indoor lounge, wifi, toilet, outdoor shower, outdoor bath, outdoor seating and firepit.
