January Exhibitions at Northern Rivers Community Gallery
Overview
Interior and exterior landscapes, magic and photography on show this January.
Northern Rivers Community Gallery launches its 2026 exhibition program with four engaging exhibitions by local and interstate artists, exploring landscape, ritual, magic and our connection to the natural world. The exhibitions feature painting, photography and digital animation.
Gallery Coordinator Imbi Davidson says the program brings together leading Australian artists and emerging regional voices.
Into the Forest | Karyn Fendley presents landscape paintings inspired by the lakes, estuaries and forests of northern New South Wales, continuing the artist's long-standing exploration of the natural environment.
Temporal Collapse | Linsey Gosper explores the intersection of art and magic through analogue photography. Central to the exhibition is the altar, a site of ritual and devotion expressed through symbolic objects and mythic imagery.
A Light Hold | Eliza Adam responds directly to place, drawing on quiet observations of the natural landscape and its layered histories to reflect on materiality and our relationship with the world.
Boundary Rider | Jacqueline & Dane Scotcher uses digital animation and abstract painting to explore inner landscapes shaped by connection to nature and the rhythms of the environment.
