Exhibition Of Australian Comics and Other Humours Items

There are laughs for both young and old at the latest exhibition at Crawford House Museum at Alstonville, because it's all about comics and cartooning in Australia. The exhibition is in collaboration with Peter and Marie Curnow, who have an extensive range and knowledge of Australian comic books until 1966. It explores the large variety of subjects that comics cover, from light-hearted fun to serious social commentary. Of course, Ginger Meggs is featured, as well as the ways advertisements have used characters from comics.
