Ballina RSL Sub Branch Museum
Highlights
Overview
Step into the Combined Services Museum at the Ballina RSL and explore an extraordinary collection that honours those who have served — from the Boer War through to modern Peacekeeping missions.
The Museum's displays feature hundreds of authentic artefacts, including medals, original documents, uniforms, photographs, paintings, models and replicas — alongside a compelling documentary presentation that brings history to life.
Each piece tells a story. Together, they reflect courage, sacrifice, and the enduring spirit of service. The collection continues to grow as families and individuals donate treasured memorabilia, ensuring that these personal histories are preserved for generations to come.
The Museum is not designed to glorify war, but to provide a space for remembrance, reflection, and understanding — helping visitors grasp the experiences of those who lived through the realities of conflict.
Group visits and school excursions are warmly welcomed, with guided tours available by prior arrangement through the Sub-Branch.
If you would like to donate military memorabilia, please contact the Ballina RSL Club.
