The Historic Mirrool Hotel, built between 1913 and 1916 and officially opened in 1917, is located 47 kilometres south of West Wyalong and 90 kilometres north of Narrandera on the Newell Highway.
Offering comfortable country hospitality, the hotel features four accommodation rooms, eight powered caravan and camping sites, modern shower facilities, a clean amenities block, a children's playground, and barbecue facilities. It is also well known for its hearty meals and welcoming atmosphere.
Mirrool is perhaps best known for the iconic Mirrool Silo Kick, held annually on the second Saturday in October. This unique event attracts footballers, farmers, and celebrities, all competing for the chance to kick an Australian Rules football over the towering grain silos and claim the prize. The event has become a beloved country tradition, drawing visitors from across Australia.
