Winter Whittling: School Holidays Workshop for Kids
Overview
Looking for something to do these Winter school holidays? The kids will help collect firewood and start the group fire, help cook jaffles over the coals and learn basic whittling skills. They will be making digging sticks, wands or chopsticks using potato peelers and knives.
Children will have the opportunity to slow down and deepen their connection with the land around them through the day's simple and mindful activities.
They request that parents please do not enrol children under the age of 9 years old. Due to the nature of this workshop, they are catering to the bigger kids from ages 9-12 years old.
Enclosed shoes are required. Please notify them of any allergies.
If your child becomes unwell or is no longer able to attend, please let them know as soon as possible, ideally with at least 12 hours' notice.
As this is a free workshop with limited places, last‑minute cancellations and no‑shows prevent children on their waiting list from participating. To ensure fair access for all families, repeated no‑shows will affect your ability to secure places at future ErinEarth events.
If a spot becomes available, an ErinEarth staff member will call or email you up to the day before to offer your child a spot.
