Mokuhanga (Japanese Woodblock) with Elaine Camlin - Adult Workshop

Overview

Join local artist Elaine Camlin for a one day workshop exploring the process of Mokuhanga, a traditional Japanese woodcut technique. Participants will learn to create a multi-colour woodblock print, then hand-print in water-based ink, onto washi paper. Participants will admire the subtle wood grain marks within each printing block, learning to ink and print to highlight these.
