Overview
Crookwell & District Art Gallery - CDAG is a cultural facility of the Upper Lachlan Shire Council.
It is a S355 committee of the ULSC which is run by volunteers.
The gallery aims to encourage and develop an appreciation, awareness and enjoyment of the arts in the community and to encourage intellectual and artistic exchange of ideas through the practice of artmaking.
The gallery hosts exhibitions and opening events, artist talks, outreach projects and monthly open door at the gallery activities including the annual Art on the Range exhibition each November.
The Community Art Collection - Acquisitive exhibitions have been held since the inaugural exhibition contributing to a collection of artworks. These are housed and are on display at the art gallery between exhibitions. The collection is owned by the community.
