Overview
Jordan and Eliza, with the shared vision of creating unity between all peoples within our community, dreamt up and created djinjamandjali in early 2026. djinjamandjali means 'build each other' in dhurga, the local language of this area.
Jordan has a strong connection to Yuin culture and heritage and is passionate about bringing Yuin people and allies together for healing, connection and truth. Eliza is driven to work alongside Yuin people and show allies that they can make a difference through listening, unlearning colonial conditioning and building a shared future.
djinjamandjali strives to create this type of change through offering tourism, education, youth programs, healing through food and truth telling. There are a number of experiences to choose from including a 3 hour bushfoods tour, 4 hour driving tour across walbunja country, on-country cooking experience, overnight immersive experiences and school holiday programs.
Experiences with djinjamandjali provide a safe space to come and learn about culture, country and ways of working together as a community. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of language, traditional practices, ceremony and much more. These experiences are a once in a lifetime joureny and can give locals and visitors an extensive insight into place, history and connection.
