The village of Koorawatha is the gateway Koorawatha Falls and Koorawatha Nature Reserve, popular for bird watching and family picnics.

Note: Koorawatha Falls is accessible by 4-wheel drive vehicles or by foot only. Non 4-wheel drive vehicles should be parked before the river crossing at the end of Falls Road.
