Join the Cameron Jones Trio for the launch of Hold On To Hope – a recording shaped over years on the bandstand and across continents, now brought to life in an intimate live setting.

Blending French, Sinti, American jazz and Italian musical traditions, the album draws from a repertoire that has evolved organically through live performance before finding its way into the studio. Performed by an ensemble of deeply attuned musicians who have played together since 2017, the music captures the spontaneity, interplay, and energy at the heart of this tradition.

Rooted in jazz heritage and performed with deep respect, the trio's sound also carries a distinct personal voice – shaped by time spent learning and performing across France and the Netherlands, and grounded in lived experience growing up in Western Sydney. Each piece reflects a sense of place and memory, echoing late nights in bars, campsite sessions, and moments along the Canal Saint-Martin in Paris, where music is shared and time seems to slow.

Drawing on the legacy of Django Reinhardt and the contemporary virtuoso Joscho Stephan, this music lives in the space between tradition and personal expression.

Expect an immersive, close-up listening experience in Heritage's Sapphire Lounge. Music performed with nuance, precision, and feeling, where every detail can be heard and felt.

An afternoon of refined, heartfelt jazz.
