Barragga Yangga, meaning "Many Songs" in traditional Dhurga language, is a moving celebration of First Nations language, story and song. Created under the artistic direction of Cheryl Overton (nee Davison), this extraordinary project brings together intergenerational Yuin choir Djinama Yilaga, Heath Cullen, Fred Leone, Affinity Quartet with orchestration by Stuart Hunter, and choral arrangements by Heath Cullen and Roland Peelman.

In 2027, Barragga Yangga will invite local adult and children's choirs and the Four Winds Community Orchestra to participate in the performance in Four Winds beautiful outdoor Soundshell and natural amphitheatre. Learning the songs in the lead up to the event, under the direction of Barragga Yangga's creative team and Djinama Yilaga, this broad community engagement will strengthen and amplify Barragga Yangga's celebration of Dhurga culture and language.
