This latest body of work by Taz was inspired by the chaotic pockets of bushland which often go unnoticed, and challenges the viewer to consider the intricate landscapes often taken for granted. She experiments with unharnessed lines and shapes, fresh from a moment in time, making purposeful marks which echo her movements over the canvas.

These experimental new works were driven by a sense of urgency to capture a world on the brink in the face of so much change. Frustrated by the perfection of AI, Taz chose to leave parts of the works raw and incomplete, to bring you something authentically human.

This body of work is a love letter to the South Coast, and a witness statement to a world changing from beneath her brush.
