Artist Talk with Dennis Golding
Overview
Dennis Golding, a Kamilaroi/Gamilaraay artist from the northwest of NSW, with Family in Nowra, will talk about Power - The Future is Here.
Dennis Golding will be a guest of Sholahven Regional Gallery to open his exhibition, Power - The Future is Here. The exhibition opens with Donooch Dancers, a Smoke Ceremony with Joe McLeod and a Welcome to Country by Paul Mcleod. The artist talk with Dennis Golding begins after this.
Power - The Future is Here is the result of a collaboration between Golding and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from Alexandria Park Community School. The superhero capes were created during a workshop in 2020, led by Golding who was an artist in residence at the school through Solid Ground.
