Located in Banjo Paterson Park, the chairlift sits beside the lakefront with majestic views of Lake Jindabyne. It's a great spot for visitors and locals to take a break, snap a pic, and enjoy another 'big thing' of NSW.
This locally-built landmark celebrates the adventurous heart of Jindabyne. It reflects the town's connection to snow sports, tourism, and the creative energy that shapes the region. Every detail, from its size to its placement, has been thoughtful to ensure a lasting icon for the Jindabyne.
Access is easy. A wide, all-abilities concrete path leads straight from the nearby carpark to the installation, making it welcoming for everyone, including prams, wheelchairs, and those enjoying a gentle walk along the lake foreshore. It features a selfie post, where iPhones and the like can be positioned for automatic and iconic image captures.
