Forest Voices Bird Language Retreat
Overview
A 3-day immersive retreat in the ancient forests of Mount Hyland on the Dorrigo Plateau to learn about the practice of deep listening to the language of birds. The retreat adopts a mindfulness approach to nature connection, which combined with ecology-based teaching sessions fosters an advanced sense of observational awareness. Move beyond simply naming birds and ticking them off a list to a joyful relationship with nature anchored in observational investigation, scientific curiosity, wonder and deep knowledge of place.
The retreat is catered, you only need bring breakfasts and snacks. Participants camp under the stars, surrounded by rainforest. Numbers are strictly limited.
