Terri Butterworth: Small Worlds

Small Worlds presents a new series of paintings by Coffs Coast artist Terri Butterworth that are inspired by the natural world and its ever-changing arrangements of colour, light and form.

Drawing on close observations of landscape, she creates evocative compositions that explore mood, atmosphere and a sense of place, while reflecting on themes of transience, interconnectedness and the subtle relationships that shape our experience of the world. Through gesture, line, colour and texture, Terri Butterworth moves beyond representation, allowing familiar forms to transform into spaces that balance the seen and the unseen.
