Grafton to Inverell
Overview
The Grafton to Inverell features point-to-point cycling road races between the towns of Grafton and Inverell in northern New South Wales.
Participants completing the full distance of 228km ride over some of the most demanding terrain in worldwide cycling including the climb of the Gibraltar Range, an 18-kilometre ascent from the Clarence Valley to the New England Highlands. The race is six to seven hours long, depending on weather conditions.
The G2I is a highlighted event in the ProVelo Super League (PSL) series . The men's and women's PSL races feature the leading male and female riders and teams in Australia as they battle for the honour of winning this prestigious event. The male PSL riders complete the full 228km course from Grafton to Inverell and the female PSL riders complete a challenging 110km course from Mt Mitchell to Inverell.
The event is again providing cyclists throughout the country with the opportunity to be part of the iconic 'Grafton', by entering the popular 'Grafton to Inverell Open'. Male and female riders compete in age group categories over the full course of 228km.
The men and women PSL riders will showcase the excitement of circuit racing at the Lake Inverell purpose built cycling facility.
