Against the Wind Challenge
Overview
The Against the Wind Challenge is a powerful 350-kilometre cycling event across the Northern Rivers, symbolising the 350 domestic violence–related calls made every day in NSW. Held over three days, the ride aims to raise awareness and generate vital support for domestic and family violence services.
Organised by The Boaty Boys with support from the Rotary Club of Ballina-on-Richmond, the challenge brings together riders, sponsors and community partners committed to driving change. Funds raised contribute to respectful relationships education in schools and crisis phone services for people fleeing violence.
The 350 kilometre riding challenge covers a different route each day, including:
Day One: Bonalbo to Eltham
Day Two: Eltham to Uki
Day Three: Uki to Lennox Head
Riders of all abilities, along with local businesses and supporters, are encouraged to get involved and help make a meaningful impact through this important cause.
