Global Beats and Bites Ballina

Global Beats & Bites is a free, family-friendly street food and cultural festival bringing music, dance, food and community together in the heart of Ballina.

Following five successful years in Byron Bay, Global Beats expands to Ballina in 2026, transforming Fawcett Park into a vibrant celebration of cultures from around the world. Visitors can experience an exciting program of live performances, multicultural entertainment and international flavours in a welcoming outdoor setting.

The festival showcases a diverse range of cultural performances, including Japanese Taiko drumming, African drum circles, Brazilian and Pacific Island entertainment, Spanish dance and Indigenous Australian cultural experiences. Live music, dance, lantern displays and family-friendly activities create an energetic atmosphere throughout the afternoon and evening.

Food lovers can explore a variety of Asian and multicultural street food vendors, offering authentic flavours from across the globe. From savoury street eats to sweet treats, there is something to suit every taste.
