Design, build, experiment and film an original mission to the moon in this hands-on workshop for students in Years 5 and 6, held at Muswellbrook Library. Led by the Muswellbrook Shire Council STEM Team, participants explore the fundamentals of STEM through the design and construction of a billy cart rocket. Design, build, experiment and film an original mission to the moon in this hands-on workshop for students in Years 5 and 6, held at Muswellbrook Library.

Led by the Muswellbrook Shire Council STEM Team, participants explore the fundamentals of STEM through the design and construction of a billy cart rocket. Students then step into the role of filmmakers, developing a creative storyline, designing a storyboard and capturing their journey on film to produce a short STEM documentary.

The workshop builds skills in teamwork, problem-solving, creativity and communication.

Lunch and recess are supplied.

This inclusive workshop welcomes all students in Years 5 and 6, including those with additional needs.
