Character Design and Puppet Making Workshop
Overview
Discover the art of character design and puppet making for animation in this hands-on workshop for students in school years seven to 12, held at Muswellbrook Library.
Led by award-winning animators and filmmakers Jelena Sinik, Nicolette Axiak and Carl Stewart, participants explore the full creative process, from sketching original characters to constructing puppets ready for animation. Students build practical skills in armature puppet building, translating ideas from 2D to 3D, creative visualisation and purposeful design, while developing creative problem-solving abilities.
All materials are supplied. This inclusive workshop welcomes all students in school years seven to 12, including those with additional needs.
