Chris Callaghan Is The Highwayman Show
Overview
By popular demand his new show Chris Callaghan is The Highwayman contains elements of career highlights The Good Old Boys Of Country Blues, CC's Got The Blues, the best of Troubadours and Outlaws, and Chris Callaghan, The Modern-Day Troubadour.
This show features his own brand of original country music together with covers of the big hit songs by legendary outlaws Waylon and Willie, Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson aka The Highwaymen. This blend of influences enhances Callaghan's distinctly Australian writing and performance style which has enabled him to build a strong and loyal following that return year after year.
He has also developed a deep respect for the commitment and determination required to endure as an artist amidst the struggles of a life constantly on the road with the music highs and lows.
This show has now woven elements of The Highwaymen stories into Chris's own and so become a modern day reflection what it really means to be The Highwayman. His signature song Whatever It Takes and crowd favourite Listen To The Rain are always high on the request list together with number one chart topping Honky Tonk Country Blues and the soulful reflection on life of Tragedy Comedy.
