Learn how to create your own characters and storylines with Albury graphic artist Kieran Jack. This workshop is ideal for ages 6-16.

Kieran will cover some of his work (The Talking Bread, In Purgatory, The Lady of The Swamp, Apparition), followed by a warm-up to build participants' confidence and help them learn how to draw better stick figures.

The workshop moves on to facial expressions, by drawing Bread characters, and touches on colour and shape theory, as participants create their own characters using those principles.

Further topics include Comic Page layouts - 'camera shots', speech/thought bubbles and narration boxes.

Participants will then draw their own Character/Comic Strip.

All pens, pencils, coloured pencils, and A4 templated paper will be provided.

Light refreshments also provided.
