Captains Flat Blessing of the Bikes

Captains Flat Hotel, with support from Captains Flat Country Markets, is hosting the inaugural Captains Flat Blessing of the Bikes event, for motorbikes and push bikes, between Winchester Oval, the Community Hall and the Captains Flat Hotel. The day is to include a show and shine, stalls, markets and food vendors with the end of the event to hold a Tribute to the Fallen and for participants to receive a blessing from a member of the clergy in the hope of securing safety, protection, and a smooth ride for the upcoming season.

Blessing of the Bikes is primarily a comforting symbolic tradition and a way to build community spirit and this event is boosted with support from NSW Police, SES, RFS and our other community groups.
