A warm and character-filled setting, The Shed has a rich local history. Originally an industrial workshop dating back to the 1940s, over the years it has been home to a lucerne chaff mill, a mechanics workshop, and later a Holden museum. The Shed has been thoughtfully transformed into a spacious rustic venue filled with character, atmosphere and authentic industrial charm. Featuring soaring ceilings, weathered textures, exposed industrial details and a flexible open-plan space, it provides a memorable backdrop for weddings, celebrations and large gatherings. The Shed has also featured in song film clips and photo shoots, hosted special concerts, and been a community meeting space for colourful market events.
Whatever you are planning, The Shed at Perennialle is a one-of-a-kind space - a generous, industrial-rustic backdrop for weddings and milestone gatherings completely unlike a standard function centre. The venue comfortably seats up to 200 guests, with additional capacity available for cocktail-style weddings and celebrations. Its open-plan design allows the space to be tailored to suit intimate gatherings, large receptions or fully customised wedding styling concepts. With over 500 square metres of space, its versatility allows for a seamless transition from intimate, long-table dinners to grand-scale festivities.
