Overview
Rylstone Region Community Association Incorporated (RRCA) and Meg the Music Hunter present 'Sunset on the Rocks with Owen Campbell'. This event combines exceptional high-quality live music, with iconic ancient rock surrounding landscapes, sensational sunsets, dance, food, and fellowship.
Owen is one of Australia's premier blues/rock/alternative country artists, known for his smouldering slide guitar, gritty caramel vocals, and soulful, cosmic sound. He's released three best-selling albums and two EPs, and his debut album Sunshine Road reached Number 1 on the Australian charts, famously toppling Adele. Every one of Owen's albums has hit the Top 10 on iTunes Blues Charts in over 10 countries.
Community is celebrated with a stage of local musicians in support of the feature act.
The Rylstone Region Community Centre is a new state of the art multipurpose community centre, situated a few minutes' drive on a tarred road from the town centre of Rylstone. Set amongst breathtaking landscapes, the community centre features arts and sculptures from locals, making it truly unique. Cosy firepits warm outside spaces; indoor spaces are heated indoor spaces have seating.
