Mungindi Races
Overview
The Mungindi Cup, held in early July each year, is country racing at its best! This event was first held in 1872, and the tradition continues with a six-race strong meeting that is generously supported by local sponsors.
The Mungindi Races are perfectly timed with the school holidays for a great family day out. Along with a day of racing, there will be a President's Luncheon, food stalls, a jumping castle and foot races for all ages.
Live entertainment and a fully licenced bar will be operating into the evening for all racegoers. Fashions-of-the-field remains a key event and attracts many entrants adorned in both traditional and cutting-edge winter racing styles. Bookmakers and a TAB are also available for punters on the day.
The Mungindi Jockey Club, a volunteer committee, are delighted to host the Mungindi Cup and looks forward to welcoming you trackside!
