The Mungindi Show is a celebration of community, bringing together local residents, visitors and community groups for a weekend packed with entertainment, friendly competition and country hospitality. Making history this year is the Header/Picker Demolition Derby, taking place on Saturday afternoon. As the first event of its kind to be held in New South Wales, it is set to be one of the biggest highlights of the weekend.

Saturday's action continues with performances by the entertaining Crack Up Sisters, exciting Crocodile Encounters, a car demolition derby, lawn mower races, woodchop competitions, Bubble Muffin cooking classes, the ever-popular Mungindi Aerial Lolly Drop, the U-Beaut Ute Competition, sideshow alley attractions, carnival rides and a spectacular fireworks display. Inside the pavilion, visitors can admire an impressive display of exhibits showcasing the creativity, skills and talents of the local community.

The fun continues on Sunday, beginning with the traditional Poets Breakfast before a full day of family-friendly events including the Pet Parade, Dog High Jump, Billy Boiling Competition and Grain Shovelling Competition.
