Exhibit 'Serendipity' by Western Artists Group
Overview
This exhibition brings together a group of like-minded artists from the Dubbo region, united by a shared commitment to creative exploration and individual expression. Working across a diverse range of mediums and substrates, the artists employ techniques using artists' pen, watercolour, acrylic and oils on canvas, board and watercolour paper. This breadth of materials allows for varied approaches to subject matter, mark-making and visual storytelling.
Each artist's cultural background and life experiences play an important role in shaping their creative practice. These influences are reflected in the works on display, resulting in an eclectic fusion of styles and techniques that span illustrative, contemporary and abstract forms. While each artist brings a distinct voice to the exhibition, their works collectively demonstrate a strong sense of cohesion through thoughtful craftsmanship and experimentation.
Together, the collection highlights the depth and diversity of artistic practice within the Dubbo region. Visitors are invited to engage with the relationships between form, colour and concept, and to appreciate the unique perspectives each artist contributes to the exhibition.
