Overview
Settler's Rest is a property rich in colonial history. The Burton family story began when James Burton (1793) was transported to Sydney Cove a convict in 1816. The Convict's eldest son, James Burton (1819) purchased Settler's Rest in 1856.
Six generations later, the Burton family now welcome you to Settler's Rest Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Experience heritage and elegance with majestic O'Connell Valley views and resort style facilities including heated swimming pool, tennis court and gym/sauna.
Settler's Rest is also a boutique venue suitable for weddings and milestone celebrations. The Convict's Great Great Grandson also offers Historic Farm Tours.
