Cook, author, presenter and MasterChef Australia contestant Hayden Quinn has travelled around New South Wales discovering delicious local produce and meeting passionate producers for season two of Taste of Australia with Hayden Quinn. This week he hits the surf along the Mid North Coast and meets some passionate local producers.

Rudi Mentges’ family started making smallgoods in Germany more than 750 years ago. He’s continuing the tradition at Mentges Master Meats in Taree, making German-style sausages, sandwich meats, ham and meatloaf. All products are made with local meat and organic herbs, and are free of artificial colours or flavours.

Burraduc Buffalo Dairy on the edge of the Myall Lakes National Park is famous for its hand-crafted mozzarella, curd, yoghurt and milk. Farmers Elena and Andrei Swegen run this innovative, ethical and organically-managed property, and are passionate about the welfare of their buffalo herd.
