Kidman Way and Beyond

Follow The Kidman Way, named for legendary pastoralist Sir Sidney Kidman, once the largest landowner in the world. The route is inspired by his passion for exploration and desire to open up inland Australia.

This fun and friendly tour traverses charming towns, splendid national parks, fine food and wine experiences and fascinating heritage. Start your adventure in the picturesque town of Albury, before heading on to Jerilderie, where you can soak up some good old country charm. Next, weave your way to Coleambally, ‘the friendliest town in Australia’.

From there, it's on to Griffith, where you’ll discover the many highlights of this major regional city - from Italian heritage and foodie delights to great wineries. Then it’s through Hillston and Cobar, before a final overnight stay in Bourke, where you’ll get to know the classic Outback town once home to famed poet Henry Lawson.
