Winter in Walcha
Overview
Winter in Walcha - 10 Degrees Cooler is a collection of events that embrace the cold and deliver on the crispness of high-altitude life.
Held each year across three crisp Sundays in the heart of the New England High Country, these winter events bring together local artisans, makers, growers and foodies under a shared celebration of cool.
One day each month of June, July and August, McHattan Park, in the heart of Walcha, will become a winter village square - covered in snow, firepits crackling, music playing, locals and visitors wrapped up for warmth, clutching a hot chocolate and having a yarn.
Welcome to Winter in Walcha, where we love the frost, light the fires and celebrate the vibrancy of winter.
