Hey, I’m Ben. I take landscape photos in between studying and teaching at the University of Newcastle.
I’ve been taking photos for about 7 years now. Photography for me is a means of creative expression and a source of satisfaction when capturing a beautiful scene. It is also a great reason to get out and explore nature.
I love beaches, sand dunes, farmland, forests, and waterfalls. It is hard to think of where my favourite place to visit in NSW would be. Some of my favourite photography trips have involved beautiful regional locations such as the greater Blue Mountains area, New England National Park, Worimi Sand Dunes, and numerous beaches! I also love lakes and jetties – they are so simple to photograph and work well to show off dramatic sunrises and sunsets.
2017 has been a great year so far, as I began to take photography more seriously. I had a local exhibition, created an Instagram to showcase my work and am currently developing a website and Facebook page to compliment a photography business idea that I hope to launch by 2018. If you like my work, please keep an eye out on my Instagram for all my future updates and launches throughout 2017!
Thanks for everyone for your support.
