I grew up in a small rural town called Armidale, during high school I studied photography as an elective and my passion grew from there. In mid-2012 I moved to the Central Coast and I just loved spending as much time as possible at Norah Head or exploring at Somersby Falls. I used to take thousands of photos on my phone until my partner brought me my first DSLR in 2014 for my birthday.
It wasn’t until early this year that I really started getting into processing my photos, I grabbed inspiration from different photographers through Instagram and Facebook, and I taught myself to achieve the different looks I wanted through Adobe Lightroom.
I never really thought my photos were something until I started showing my family and friends, their encouragement to achieve something with my photography pushed me to create a Instagram and Facebook photography page.
The thing I love most about photography is the feeling I get when I’m out there exploring and discovering new places and then being able to share them with people through my photos! One thing I’ve learnt is that you don’t need to know everything and have all the expensive camera equipment to go out there and enjoy what this world has to offer you, you just have to be willing to learn, explore and discover.
