Featured Photographer – Craig Mason/East Coast Photography

4 April 2017

Hi, my name’s Craig and my life is photography. I’ve grown up in the seaside towns of Forster – Tuncurry and just love the relaxed lifestyle, but also the sometimes calming, sometimes dramatic environment it offers.

2017 marks a milestone for East Coast Photography – 20 of professional photography. In fact, it was 20 years ago that I did my first commercial shoot, being a commission of aerial photography of the Manning and Great Lakes region. Since then, I’ve had hundreds of hours in all manners of aircraft, from ‘bird-like’ freedom of ultralights to the adrenaline rush of sitting on the skids of helicopters.

These days, drone photography has taken the place for most of my aerial photography, the freedom and immediacy of shooting from such a device is simply unbeatable. Without such, my ‘shark-mouth’ image would not have been possible.

My photography business is very diverse, from photographing beautiful brides one minute to photographing the million-dollar beachfront real estate and stunning landscapes next. What can I say, I love my work.

I’d love for you to follow my photography on Facebook or Instagram:
