Wings Over Illawarra will feature formation flying and spectacular aviation demonstrations from the Australian Defence Force, alongside rare displays of vintage warbirds and classic aircraft from the past. Marvel at the range of historic aircraft on display, which includes an iconic Qantas 747 VH-OJA and the 1955 Super Constellation—a fully restored American military airliner. Discover classic warbirds like the Focke-Wulf Fw 190, a single-seat, single-engine fighter jet used by German pilots during World War II. Streamlined to take on the Royal Air Force’s front-line fighters, this plane went on to be known as one of the best fighter planes of the Second World War.

Seeing this beautiful vintage plane take to the skies is set to be a unique experience for anyone interested in aircraft.
