If you missed the Tathra Moonlight Cinema over the Christmas and New Year break, don’t worry! You can catch the exciting night-time event for one more weekend at Easter.
Whether you are a film buff or you just love spending time in a stunning beachside setting, this is one event you won’t want to miss! From watching the moon rise out of the sea to taking in a great selection of films over the long weekend, this is a great activity for the entire family to enjoy.
The next Moonlight Cinema event will take place on March 30 at Tathra Surf Life Saving Club – there will be a screening of a children’s film early in the evening, with a second film for adults later in the night. Family admission discounts are available – contact the surf club for more details in the run-up to the event.
If you happen to be visiting Tathra over the Easter weekend, there are plenty of other great activities and attractions to keep you entertained throughout the local area and along the NSW Sapphire Coast.
The historic steamer wharf here is the last one of its kind on the NSW coast – and if you love to go fishing, this is the perfect destination.
You will also find that this is a brilliant place to get back to nature – check out the nearby Mimosa Rocks National Park to the north and the Bournda National Park to the south. Both are known for their spectacular rocky coastline and miles of unspoiled beaches.
Alternatively, the Mogareeka Inlet offers safe swimming for children at the mouth of the Bega River and is the perfect place to spend some time with your family over the long weekend.
