I have been a professional photographer for over 30 years. I have enjoyed a long and varied career that has allowed me the pleasure to travel widely capturing life in Australia and around the world as a photojournalist but also as a travel and lifestyle photographer.
For the majority of my career, I worked as a Staff Photographer with Fairfax Media for The Sydney Morning Herald, this position afforded me a wide range of assignments in breaking news, features, the arts and sports.
My other passion and career highlight was my work for Fairfax Media and Rolex documenting and competing in the Sydney Hobart Yacht Race as a crew member on-board various supermaxi yachts. This work provided me with further global work opportunities documenting international sailing regattas and offshore yacht racing.
The coast of New South Wales is of particular significance for my family and me. As a keen surfer, many beaches on the Far North Coast have been where I have been able to share this passion with my wife and two daughters. NSW has such so much unspoiled beauty, making it an absolute privilege for it to be a place to call home.
After a great career with Fairfax Media I am now once again enjoying freelance photography, having the opportunity to work with clients such as Destination NSW, Lonely Planet, Lendlease and Bloomberg. This year has been full of exciting experiences, heightening my enthusiasm for my work and future possibilities.
