Cloudbreaker Falls is 15 minutes from the gorgeous Kangaroo Valley township (two hours south of Sydney) and slightly longer to the restaurants and boutiques of Berry. The wild unspoilt beaches and National Parks of the Shoalhaven are less than an hour away, as are several promising wineries and restaurants.
It is hidden in a forest clearing surrounded by tall dense bush, it is compact but unashamedly luxurious. The extensively landscaped clearing include an enormous outdoor firepit and a separate stunning glass-walled bathroom with a waterfall shower and a deep bath for soaking in the nature.
It sleeps four or five people depending on size and has a well-stocked kitchen with gas burners, microwave and coffee machine. It’s off-the-grid but Luxe. For cooking outdoors there’s a gas barbecue. Inside there’s a wood combustion heater for cold nights. A fan for hot ones and an air-conditioner for those who need one. It is surrounded by a large timber deck and seats 12 . For sleeping under the stars on the deck there are fold-up camp beds - and the most breathtaking views of the milky way on clear nights.
