Float your boat

Kayaking is a magical way to explore Batemans Marine Park, as well as other waterways like the Moruya River and Tuross Lake. Join Bay and Beyond Sea Kayak Tours for a guided kayaking tour or hire a kayak and head out on your own. Region X offers tours in glass-bottom kayaks or, for something different, join them for a Pizza Paddle Tour or Oyster Tasting tour.

At Mossy Point, north of Broulee, you can hire kayaks and stand-up paddleboards to float over smooth-spotted stingrays who live in the Tomaga River. In Narooma, hire kayaks from Narooma Marina and explore Wagonga Inlet. You’ll take in views of the town, paddle past old forest growth along the shoreline, see a historic cemetery and cruise by expanses of oyster leases.

Batemans Marine Park is an intriguing underwater world that stretches along the Eurobodalla coast, with reefs, caves and sheltered waters making it a stunning spot for diving and snorkelling. Batemans Bay Dive Adventures will kit you up and get you underwater. You can explore the beautiful Eurobodalla coastline by bike, with more than 400km of scenic cycling routes for both on-road and off-road riding. Begin your cycling adventure on the easy Batemans Bay Cycleway, a lovely 18km return journey. Go wild

Native animals await at Birdland Animal Park in Batemans Bay, where you can meet owls, emus and koalas. Mogo Wildlife Park has the largest collection of endangered and exotic animal species in Australia. You can feed a tiger, lion or red panda, pat a rhino and play with the meerkats and squirrel monkeys. It really is wild fun!
