Elm Grove Sanctuary is the intersecting point of the Peak River and the Goobarragandrra river, a tradition birth place, in former days, for the local indigenous people.  For the past fifty years it has been a place of quiet retreat for those looking to escape the busy chaos of life. Tall elms skirt the river bank creating beautiful glades of dappled sunlight. The property backs onto a large network of old gold mines hidden up in the scrub. There are a large number of large water falls walking distance from the cottage, and plenty of fresh trout to catch in the river. The river is great for swimming, kayaking and fishing. Plenty of gorgeous bush walks, waterfalls and historic goldmines to explore, rock climbing and first class rapids for kayaking for the more adventurous. Quiet little nooks by the river in dappled sunlight; perfect for spending a lazy afternoon in a hammock with a good book. This camp site will be one you'll want be returning to often.
