The Royal Arms Bed and Breakfast is located on the main street of Nimmitabel. It was built in 1859 and has a long history of hospitality to the Monaro, the ski fields, and the Bega Valley. It is a short 1.5 hour drive from Canberra, and about halfway between Sydney and Melbourne, making it an ideal place to break the journey.

The Royal Arms currently has two suites upstairs available for cosy, country hospitality. Each suite has two bedrooms; and its own bathroom and sitting room, including an open fireplace. The glassed-in veranda makes a warm retreat on a cool climate afternoon with views of Mt Kosciuszko. En-suite rooms can be made available on request.

Breakfast is cooked specially for you. Dinner is available by arrangement. They have a wide range of expertise in catering to special diets.

The Royal Arms is the home of Grant and Diane Walker, and family. They can help you out with local knowledge, tips and history, making you feel that you've truly had a taste of a unique part of Australia.

Does not cater for people with access needs.
