Australian Longboard Surfing Open

For the last 12 years this multi-day longboard surfing festival has been held at Kingscliff, on the wave rich Tweed Coast.
The Australian Longboard Surfing Open is the premier longboard surfing event in Australia. attracting the top echelon of the worlds professional and amateur longboard surfers.
2020 will see the introduction of a Trans-Tasman Test to create a showcase rivalry between Australian and New Zealand surfers .
Competitors and spectators from all around Australia and from overseas are attracted to this event.
The Australian Longboad Surfing Open helps promote healthy, active living messages to young athletes and their families. It includes many aspects of Australia’s beach culture and surfing lifestyle activities such as live music, historical board displays, Indigenous presentations, a surf vehicle display, surf art and more.
